Bic Runga의 풀네임은 Briolette Kah Bic Runga. 1976년 1월 13일 생, 어머니는 중국계 말레이시아인, 아버지는 마오리족 출신. 어머니에게서 음악적 재능을 물려받았나 보다. 자매들이 2명 더 있는데, 모두 가수란다.
노래도 쓰고, 작곡도 하고, 드럼도 치고, 기타도 치고, 피아노도 치고, 하모니카도 불고, 노래도 잘 부르기까지 하는 정말 멋진 여가수. 드물다 이런 사람.
